2nd Cradley (St Peter's) Raffle Terms and Conditions
Promoter
The promoter of this raffle is 2nd Cradley (St Peter’s) Scout Group. The group is registered with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council and operates in accordance with applicable UK laws relating to small society lotteries. Licence Number : 2262
Purpose of the Raffle
All proceeds from the raffle will be used to support the activities, equipment, and development of the Scout Group.
Eligibility
- Participants must be aged 16 or over to purchase raffle tickets.
- Tickets may be purchased on behalf of someone under 16, but the purchaser is responsible for the ticket.
- Members of the organising group and their immediate families may enter.
Ticket Sales
- Each ticket will be sold at the stated price.
- Tickets must not be sold in the street unless permitted under relevant regulations.
- No refunds will be issued once tickets are purchased.
Draw Details
- The raffle draw will take place on the advertised date and location.
- Winners will be selected at random.
- If circumstances require, the draw date may be changed; notice will be given where possible.
Prizes
- Prizes are as advertised or of equal or greater value.
- Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered unless stated.
- The promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes if necessary.
Winner Notification
- Winners will be notified using the contact details provided on the ticket.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days the promoter reserves the right to redraw.
Claiming Prizes
- Proof of ticket ownership may be required.
- Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of communication
Data Protection
- Personal details provided will only be used for the administration of the raffle.
- We are using Zeffy as online raffle ticket provider please see there Data Protection policy.
- Paper information will not be shared with third parties and will be handled in accordance with data protection legislation.
Liability
- The promoter is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
- The promoter’s liability shall be limited to the value of the ticket purchased.
Compliance
This raffle is conducted in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 and relevant regulations for small society lotteries.
